Much of what we eat and drink has a magnificent effect on our skin and hair!

So why not focus a bit on the food that is all natural and not care that much about all the creams and liquids that are available in the different shops.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is part of many of the beauty products and is known for the soothing effect on the body. Take a handful oatmeal and put it in the bathtub for 15 minutes. If you want to put it on your face you can mix it with warm water, massage the mixture into your skin before you rinse it off with water.

Coconut oil

Up through history natural oils has been used to protect the skin. If you easily get pimples, coconut oil is the oil to use. This is because it doesn’t block the pores. Apply to moist skin to give a moisturizing boost.

Honey

Being natural antiseptic means that through all time honey has been used to prevent damages on the skin. Honey kills bacteria, and it is said to be good for pimples. If your skin is dry you can apply honey to get back the moisture in your skin.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is often used as face peeling. Pumpkin contains an enzyme that removes the dead skin and enhances the process of new cells. Pumpkin is also rich on moisturizing antioxidants. Mash the pumpkin and apply to the skin. Normal to oily skin.

Egg white

The eggwhite helps the skin to get firm. Apply the egg white to the skin and let it dry for ten minutes before you rinse it off. While drying, the egg white cleanses the pores. A good alternative if you have pimples.

Green tea

Green tea is not only good for your health, it is also good for your skin. Take two teabags, put them in cold water. Then leave them to rest on your eyes for ten minutes to reduce pores and dark rings under the eyes.

Natural yoghurt

Natural yoghurt is good for the digestion and super for the skin. Apply the yoghurt directly to the skin, leave to work for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well

Banana

For natural moisturizer try to mash a banana that you apply on your face and throat. Leave the banana to work on the skin for 15 minutes and rinse well with warm water.

Avocado

Perfect for a mosturizing boost. Avocado has been used in different beautyproducts and contains a lot of vitamine E. Apply to the skin and leave for ten minutes before you rinse well.

Sugar

If your lips are dry and broken, try to scrub them with sugar to make them soft. Mix sugar with honey and scrub the lips gently with a toothbrush for a couple of minutes. Rinse well.

Turmeric

Turmeric has anti-flammable properties that can help with eczema and wounds.  Studies has also showed that turmeric can reduce aging. Mix turmeric with your normal moisturizer.

Cucumber

Cucumber contains 95% water, and in the water we can several vitamins and minerals.
