From last few months i have been walking around in Stavanger city. From city center to harbor and walking trails around the city. Unfortunately i have been art blind all the time till i went to the NuArt Festival opening at 10th of September. That drove me crazy afterwards because now i can see those amazing art pieces on the walls in street of the city.

The grand opening of this year’s Nuart Festival took place on Saturday 10 September at Tou Scene Centre for Contemporary Art. Exhibition of POST STREET-ART will go one from  11 September till 16 October 2016
where opening hours are Wed – Fri 12:00 – 17:00 / Sat – Sun 11:00 – 16:00 Tou Scene Beer Halls, Kvitsøygata 25, 4014 Stavanger “you will have to pay a small fee”  ( Information is taken from NuArt festival, change in details can may vary  )

Here are the details of artists and there work, but as i will keep taking images i will keep updating. Click on the artist name to see his work. BTW its much more fun to see the work with Nuart Festival 2016 Street Art Tours. Let me know if you have some words 🙂

By Add Fuel – a Portugese artist

A Portugese artist Add Fuel reinterprets the language of traditional tile design in particular the Portuguese glazed tiles.

His technique of revealing and obscuring surfaces beneath or on top of existing structures and walls creates a unique optical illusion effect. By Closer inspection it discovers a hidden world filled with humor and rendered with a masterful attention to detail.

For his participation in Nuart Festival he will work with traditional ‘Rosemaling’ patterns taken from the Rogaland region.

Axel Void (Spain)

Axel Void Years of experience strongly influenced his forms of expression and the conception of his artworks. Today, he is part of a generation of young painters.

He has created a series of site-specific artworks that portray quotidian life, called the ‘Gray series’. These are large scale artworks derived from narrative stories that reach beyond the boundaries of their immediate surroundings as opposed to what simply fits into the site’s context.

Eron (Italy)

Eron is one of the best-known exponents of Italian graffiti and street art. Eron blends his paintings into the natural features of a wall or object to create seemingly fleeting figurative visions. He has participated in many individual and collective shows throughout Italy and abroad.
